An impromptu shoot
Some of my favorite childhood memories were of vacations spent with my grandparents. So how could I resist pulling out my camera on our recent visit to spend the weekend with them? I happened to look outside as the sun was starting to cast its glow and rushed them right out of the house into their sunny yellow porch chairs that my husband dragged into the alley. They are always cheerful and up for adventure so they didn't even protest the 30 second notice I gave them.
This is 55 years of marriage...
My daughter had the best time too! There were plastic snakes and water sprinklers...
She and my grandma took delight in waking up before everyone else and "saying good morning to morning" on their front porch.
